This historically rehabilitated 14-story former hotel provides permanent housing and supportive services for 416 residents including those with a history of mental illness, those living with AIDS, recovering substance abusers, formerly homeless and low income working individuals. A 30 member social services staff offers comprehensive, on-site services including medical, psychiatric, and social services to residents who participate in an extensive array of self-sufficiency and job training programs.

Built in 1904 as a gracious residential and tourist hotel the building fell into disrepair and poverty in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The historic rehabilitation features several elaborate spaces including a 5,000 square-foot ballroom, 3,000 square-foot lobby, and a 14,000 square-foot tearoom with attached commercial kitchen. Each has undergone extensive rehabilitation to restore historically significant elements including ornamental plaster ceilings, marble and mosaic floors and wainscotted walls.
